Beaumont is on the coastal plain of the Texas Gulf Coast and is about 35 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. The city is bordered on the east by the Neches River and is about 30 miles from the Louisiana State line. As part of Jefferson County, Beaumont is the County seat.

    Also know as the Golden Triangle, Beaumont is a pleasant community with many opportunities for jobs and reasonably priced homes.
